Translation.
1851. 25 August.Manukau District.This Deed written on the 25th day of August 1851 is an
Agreement between certain chiefs of Ngatiwhatua and the Queen of England Whereby
we the owners of the piece of land described in this Deed consent to sell the
said piece of land to Queen Victoria in
Mount Smart No. II. consideration of the sum of fifteen pounds now given to us, wherefore we
give and deliver over to Queen Victoria and to her Successors for ever
Boundaries. all that piece of land and all that belongs to it bounded on the North
by the road to Panmure on the East by the land sold to Newman, and to Williams,
on the South by the land sold to Williams, and

on the West by the land sold to Watt and to Henry,
the plan is drawn on the other side of this Deed.
