Badminton: Vic went down 11-5 to Canterbury, 12-4 to Auckland and 13-3 to Otago.

Cross-country: D. Beauchamp was the first Vic man home in 6th place. In the race for the; North Island Cup Vic was 3rd to Auckland and Massey.

Fencing: Vic beat Auckland 14-2, beat Otago 13-3, and beat Canterbury 11-5 in the women's foil.

Vic beat Auckland 13-3, beat Otago 12-4, and beat Canterbury 11-5 in the men's foil.

In the men's sabre Vic beat Auckland 7-2 and Canterbury 7-2.

Golf: Victoria carried off the teams' event and supplied three members of the N.Z.U. team, Stew Crombie, Tom Gault and Peter Rankin.

Women's Hockey: Vic beat Canterbury 4-0 but lost 9-2 to Otago and 5-1 to Auckland.

Men's Hockey: Vic lost to Massey 1-0, lost to Canterbury 2-1, and lost to Auckland 3-0, drawing with Otago 2-2.

Women's Indoor Basketball: Vic lost to Auckland 21-14, lost to Canterbury 22-12 and lost to Otago 25-14, beating Lincoln 18-14.

Men's Indoor Basketball: Vic beat Auckland 33-29, beat Lincoln 68-34, beat Massey 43-29 and lost to Otago 40-38.

Soccer: Vic beat Lincoln 7-3, beat Massey 4-1, heat Canterbury 5-2, beat Auckland 4-2, losing to Otago 4-1 to complete a very fine performance.
