To Love
To Love
Come away, love, come away;
Flee these dull hours
And walk with me in fairyland.
O'er mountain and glen, by river and lea,
Through thicket and copse, I shall lead you.
Come away, love; come with me.
Though these we flee be rich, love,
None more rich than thee.
Though these the spirit of life, love,
What spirit is fairer than thee?
On the edge of the forest sweeping
Far out beyond our eyes
Lie now Elysian fields.
Come away, love; come with me.
