No. 272, 1890.—Tutere Hirini and 30 Others.

Petitioners desire that permission may be granted to them to export rock-oysters to New South Wales for sale, thus enabling them to provide food for themselves and families.

I have the honour to report as follows: The opinion of the Committeee is that in this matter the Government can only Act in accordance with law, and that the Natives be informed accordingly.
