The Founders of Canterbury
Memorandum
Memorandum.
John Hutt came here yesterday, on his way to town from Folkestone. Pointed out to him serious errors in printed terms of purchase and form of application, which we corrected. Long conversations with him about the Association's manner of doing business, his position, &c. &c. Also about Bellairs, and the objections of some members of the Committee made without having heard his name. Very full, unreserved, and unpleasant talk. Hutt proposed that Bellairs page 194should write a private letter to him, and wrote to Bellairs to that effect, leaving the letter here.
