The Founders of Canterbury
The Rev. J. C. Wynter. Reigate, 21st December, 1849
My Dear Sir,
—I called, in order to express your very opinion about Bishop Selwyn's letter; and also to talk a little on matters in general, including the college, with regard to which there is a hitch, but I hope nothing more.
But I will try to get to the Tower to-morrow morning.
I send a Morning Chronicle, containing a letter of Godley's, which is much admired.
