Believe it or Not

Whilst anchored at Noumea on the way to Guadalcanal, George Hall was standing by the rails on the deck of the James B. Francis, when his watch fell overboard. During the night, the boat had almost made a full turn. The following morning two members of another unit decided to do some fishing and their catch was the watch George had lost in the harbour the previous day.
