Are you able to do anything to hurry up reinforcements for us here? One brigade in England will not be here before the end of page 28 December. Any number would be welcome even though they were given only one month's military training.
Please let me know when you receive the appreciation of the situation in Egypt I did for the British Cabinet, and which I sent you personally by mail from England.1
The Third Echelon has just begun to arrive in camp here. All are well.
