Note.—This list was compiled from lists supplied by the Base Records Office, Wellington. The dates shown are in most cases those on which the casualties occurred.

It will be noticed that a few names have no battalion numbers marked against them. The probable explanation is that these casualties occurred either in the Reserve Battalion at Sling, or at the New Zealand Base Depôt or the Entrenching Group in France.
