APPENDIX I - FLIGHT REQUIREMENTS, VUWAE 19

The total helo hours charged to VUWAE 19 were approximately 22, whereas only 20 were originally requested. DVDP hours were used for Kyle and Keys' visit to Black Island and for Keys' flight out to Lake page 17 Bonney. Keys used Round-Turner's hours to visit Black Island on the second occasion.

The helo hours originally requested by Kyle for the Mt. Erebus expedition were 36, and 36 hours were used. These are not shown on the above schedule since this expedition was separate from VUWAE 19.

Cargo that went south by air was returned along with most samples by sea, aboard the "Pvt John R. Towle', with the exception of some urgently needed cargo of Kyle's and some of Northey's.
