Poor Professors!

In speeches and in general conversation we, as students, are always accusing the professors and members of the staff of a lack of interest in all University affairs which are not academic. This is in many cases true enough, but does it ever occur to the student that we take very little interest in what the staff does? Surely it is up to "Smad" to keep us advised of the deliberations of the Prof. Hoard, not to mention the private lives of the University's professors and lecturers.
