Annual General Meeting

On Thusday last thirteen budding C.J.'S listened to the melodious voice of a senior member of the bar congratulating members of the committee as they were nominated, on their election; and some very fine addresses were given.

Mr. J. C. White presided. Recommendations were made that the Librarian should be approached with a view to the building up of a cultural legal section in the library, and that as much as expedient of the profits of the Law Ball should be donated to the Building Fund.

Panegyrics were delivered over the dead bodies of the retiring chairman and executive (not to mention the Dean). The election of officers resulted as follows:— Chairman, Mr. R. S. V. Simpson; Hon. Treasurer, Mr. H. S. Sivyer; Hon. Secretary, Mr. R. S. C. Agar; Committee, Messrs. F. D. Christengen, R. C. Connell, A. R. Perry, AND j. n. sELLERS.
