Our New Executive.

"Ave Cæsar, morituri te salutant," we are tempted to murmur as we view the new lords we have elected to rule us. The new Executive has just taken office, and "Smad: wishes to congraulate all the individuals and to hope that their reign may be long and lenient. There are many things to be done in the ensuing year, so that their time will be fully occupied; but we hope that absorption in the details of routine administration will not prevent them from keeping some attention fixed on the more important long-range questions of University policy. Election pledges lie behind, but their fulfilment is yet to come.
