The same old Freshers welcome was held in the same old place (constructed 1910 and still going strong) on Saturday, 9th March Mr. Nankervis welcomed freshers and freshettes with the same speech last year the students sung the same songs and everybody made the same remarks. Dance steps also appeared to have undergone no appreciable change possibly due to the fact that the music was the same as last year in a very thin [unclear: disguised]. There was the same rush for a supper, which for its likeness to last year's suggested the same catering. But all the same everyone enjoyed it just the same.
