The Caf

The Caf.

Dear "Smad,"—

During the vacation the question of the Cafeteria has been fully gone into, and we have the following announcements to make:—
(1)Everyone should remember that the success of the Cafeteria depends entirely on the support received from students.
(2)For the benefit of freshers, the Cafeteria is situated on the ground floor of the Library wing, near the Women's Common Room.
(3)In the past certain people have been making complaints in a [unclear: very] offensive way, and we have [unclear: insoicted] the Cafeteria manageress to sport any such offences to us.
(4)Complaints and suggestions will be welcomed if they are lodged in the box placed near the counter in the Cafeteria.
(5)It is impossible for every item on the menu to be [unclear: n"] for the whole evening, but students may now order a dinner earlier in the evening to be kept for them.
(6)In place of the old cooked lunch, hot pies wil be on sale at midday (at 3d.), and sometimes in the evenings (with potatoes, 6d.). The price of tea will now be 2d. a cup.

For the Cafeteria Committee,

R. C. Morpeth,

Cafeteria Controller.
