Profundity
Profundity.
I wish I know the fellow-men
I speak to day by day,
Could read the thoughts beyond my ken
Beneath the common clay.
Give me the power to life the vell
Which shrouds the inner thought,
To see the naked mind prevail
And hear a truth unsought.
What tendernesses pass unknown,
What sadness unconsoled,
How many thoughts [unclear: mature] fall grown,
What victories unextolled!
