Zoology or the Mob
First there's the Amoeba,
Looking like the Queen of Sheba,
And a little reptile sometimes called Sphaerella;
Then comes Miss Obilia,
Than whom nothing can be chillier,
For her only garment is an old umbrella.
We all know the yeast,
A lovely little beast,
Who spends his whole existence brewing beer;
And likewise the bacillus,
Who does his best to kill us,
And walks round chewing people in the ear.
Then we have Euglena—
A living vacuum cleaner.
And last of all the good old garden worm;
We would far rather tame him
That cut him up and maim him—
But, alas, that's what we have to do next, term.
