New Zealand: Acts affecting Native Lands, 1886, 1888-91 and 1894-95

Be It Enacted by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
| 1. | Short Title. The Short Title of this Act is "The Native Land Laws Amendment Act, 1895." |
| 2. | Interpretation. In this Act, if not inconsistent with the context,—
"Appeal" includes applications for rehearing treated as appeals under section ninety-four of the Act: "The Act" means "The Native Land Court Act, 1894." Unless inconsistent with the context, words used in this Act shall, subject as aforesaid, have the same meaning as is assigned to them in section two of the Act. This Act shall, so far as relates to the Native Land Oourt and to the Native Appellate Court, be read with and as part of the Act. |
