Report by Josiah Flight, Esq., of the
Province of Taranaki, under "The New Zealand Native
Reserves Act, 1856."
The Natives whose names are given below, having the sole right to 150 acres of this reserve, and they being desirous of bringing the same under the operation of the said Act, have executed a conveyance of the said land in favour of Her Majesty. The reporter has therefore the honour to recommend that such portion of the reserve as is delineated on the plan drawn in the margin of the deed of conveyance sent herewith should be brought under the operation of the said Act.
