Notice.Respecting Occupiers of Native Reserves. Colonial Secretary's Office, Auckland, 10th September, 1841.

Notice is hereby given that all persons who have built houses upon or occupy any public reserve, or any reserve of the Natives, are required to leave and yield up possession of the same within one month from the date hereof, unless licensed to remain for a longer period by the Police Magistrate; and that, in the event of their neglecting or refusing so to do, the Police Magistrate has instructions to eject them from the ground they so occupy. And all persons are warned not to clear, fence, cultivate, or build in or upon any portion of the belt of reserved land surrounding the town.
