1856. 9 January.I have received from Donald McLean the sum of Forty Pounds (£40) being a part ofAwaiti & Pahaoa. the final instalment which was set apart for us in the sale of Awaiti and
Pahaua.
Receipt for £40. And in testimony of the receipt of these monies by me at Wellington on
this ninth (9) day of January in the year 1856,—I hereunto affix my name.
