Translation.
And it will be for the Queen of England to give that piece of land to George Augustus Bishop of New Zealand and to all the Bishops of New Zealand who may succeed him as land for the school, for the education of children, which is being established by the Bishop of New Zealand at Te Auto. And it will be looked after and held by the Bishop of New Zealand and by all the Bishops who. may succeed him as a place for that school for ever.
In token whereof we sign our names and. make our marks to this document on this thirty first day of March in the year 1857.
