The boundary commences at Arohaki thence to Otomopaia, thence to te Popo and on to Wakanuku. We have for ever given up this land to Victoria the Queen of England to the Kings or Queens who may succeed her for ever with its stream timber and stones and whatsoever appertains to the said land. When it has been surveyed the final amount of payment will be agreed upon whether it be more or less, according to the ascertained area of the land And in testimony of the receipt of these monies from Mr. McLean on this day we hereunto affix our names and marks.
