1861 10 December.Kaipara District.Tipare. Kua riro mai ki a maua na te Rokena i homai, e whitu pauna kotahi tekau hereni ko te utu tenei mo te wahi kua kapea ki waho o te ruritanga o Okaka ko Tipare te ingoa Receipt for £7 10s. [54 acres.] o taua wahi ko nga eka koia tenei 54 eka.

Translation.

Auckland, 10th Decr., 1861

We have received from Mr. Rogan the sum of Seven Pounds, Ten shillings, for the 1861. 10 December. Tipare. piece of land which was excluded from the survey of Okaka. Tipare is the name of that Receipt for £7 10s. [54 acres.] piece and it contains fifty four (54) acres.
