Translation.

We have this day received from Mr. McLean the balance of the money for this place 1854. 14 July. Takapautotara. Two hundred pounds. This is the final payment for the land within the boundaries in this document. It is for the Queen of England for ever, therefore we sign our names Receipt for £200. and make our marks to this document.
