1854. 29 June.Manukau District.Kua riro mai i ahau i tenei ra i te 29 o Hune i te tau 1854 nga moni £15 . 0 . 0. Kotahi tekau ma rima pauna hei tino utu whakamutunga mo te kainga i tukua e Heta raua Kaihau. Receipt for £15. ko Hori ki a te Makarini. Na te Makarini enei moni i homai.

Translation.

1854. 29 June.Kaihau.I have Received on the 29th day of June in the year of our Lord 1854 the sum of £15 in final payment for the place sold by Heta and Hori to Mr. McLean.
Receipt for £15. Mr. McLean paid us the money.
