Translation.
Auckland, 12th
July, 1854.
I have received this twelfth day of July 1854 the sum of Fifteen
Pounds (£15) from 1854. 12 July. Mr. McLean. These monies are to be deducted from the amount still due for
Opopo Opopo. at Waiheke namely Two Hundred pounds. These Fifteen pounds are to be
deducted Receipt for £15, advance. therefrom. On the receipt of which I hereunto affix my name and mark.
