Auckland District. claim on Maraetai—on this the first day of January 1854 being the final payment to us Fairburn Block. the Ngatitamatera for the land as bought by Mr. Fairburn on the Wairoa and the Puru Receipt for £26. and on the East Side of the river Tamaki being the whole of Tamaki to Hewling’s line and on that line to the Tamaki River. Ngatitamatera claims.

Tamaki and on all land whatsoever in the above named claims on this the seventeenth Moananui’s claims. day of March in the year of our Lord 1854.
