Kaipara District. tekau ma wha hereni me te hikipene mo te wahi kua wakatapua i Otai mo maua imua i Otai Reserve. te ruritanga o Waiherunga ko nga eka koia tenei 36 acres 1 rood. Auckland, September 16, 1862

1862 16 September.Otai Reserve. We have received this day from Mr. Rice for the Government Two pounds fourteen Receipt for £2. 14. 6. [36s. 1r. 0p.] shillings and sixpence for the piece that we retained at Otai for ourselves when Waiherunga was surveyed. The number of acres are 36 acres 1 rood.
