I have this day received the sum of Ten pounds (£10) once told for an unsold portion 1855. 11 September. of land named Te Wharauroa in the Whaingaroa District. These monies were Wharauroa. paid to me by Mr. McLean as a commencement of purchases in that District. The Receipt for £10 monies were received on this eleventh day of September One thousand eight hundred and fifty five (1855). This is the only and final payment for the above named portion of land.
