10 May, 1854
1854. 10 May.We two have received from Mr. McLean on this 10th day of May 1854
the sum of Whaingaroa. Forty Pounds (£40) from the monies to be paid for certain portions of land
recently Receipt for £40 purchased at Whaingaroa this being an acknowledgment of the claims of the
Kawhia Kawhia and Aotea claims and Aotea people to all those lands.
