Te ritenga o enei moni, he wahi mo nga utu mo taku whenua i te Weiti e takoto ana i waho o te rohe o te taiepa a Morihi Kere (Morris Kelly) a e whakaae ana ahau ki te tohutohu i nga rohe ki tetahi ka ruri o te Kawanatanga a te Raumati e haere ake nei.

Auckld., 22nd July, 1862
1862 22 July.I have received from Mr. Rogan on behalf of the Government the sum of Twenty Te Weiti. Pounds as part of the payment for my land at Te Weiti (Wade) lying outside the Receipt for £20. boundary of Morris Kelly’s fence; and I agree to point out the boundaries to any Government surveyor during the coming summer.
