Auckland, 19th July, 1854
1854. 19 JulyWe have received from Mr. McLean the sum of Fifty Pounds (£50) a first instalment Rangitoea. for our land at Waikato. The boundary commences at Rangiriri thence inland to Receipt for£50, first instalment Tirangi, thence to Patunga Te Tarutaru and following the course of the Whangamarino stream to Waitaua, Taurangakotare Kaitoniho and along the Waikato river to Rangiriri. The total amount of payment will be decided upon when the boundaries have been perambulated and the land surveyed.
