1871. 17 May.Coromandel District. At a sitting of the Native Land Court of New Zealand held at Kapanga in
Coromandel Kamarama.Order of Native Lands Court. on the 17th day of May one thousand eight hundred and seventy one,
Before Henry A. H. Monro Esquire Judge and Wiremu Hikairo Assessor ex parte Hera Puna Claimant to succeed to the hereditament of Tiepa
Puna.

Upon hearing the claimant and others and upon evidence taken it appeared to the
Court that by a certificate of title duly made and issued bearing date the 11th
day of May one thousand eight hundred and seventy one a parcel of land at
Whitianga in the District of Coromandel containing eight thousand three hundred
(8300) acres more or less and called or known by the name of Kaimarama the
boundaries whereof described Interests of Tiepa Puna, deceased, intestate, to vest in Ngakapa
Whaneunga. in the back hereof was granted to Maihi Te Hinaki Hera Puna, Tiepa Puna
and Wiremu Ngawhare Te Hinaki their heirs and assigns and that the said Tiepa
Puna recently died intestate and without having made a valid disposal of the
said land or any page 459part thereof and
it was ordered that Ngakapa Whanaunga ought to succeed to the hereditament
aforesaid.
