Deeds—No. 212. Memorandum of Agreement securing the Natives from any further Demands made upon them by Mr. Wm. White.
1844. 27 December.Auckland District. I, William White, of Hokianga, hereby release and set
free all the Natives of New Zealand, now indebted to me, from all claims of any
and every description which I now Release to Natives by Wm. White. have on them, or any of them, in consideration of Land Credit given to me,
this day, at the Treasury, for four thousand and ninety nine pounds, in respect of
my land claimed £4,099 . 0 . 0. in No. 243 G at Oroia, which land I am desirous of exchanging for other
land near Auckland.
