Translation.
kapa the boundaries whereof are set forth at the foot of this Deed and
a plan of which Land is annexed thereto with its trees minerals waters rivers
lakes streams and all appertaining to the said Land or beneath the surface of
the said Land and all our right title claim and interest whatsoever thereon To
Hold to Queen Victoria Her Heirs and Assigns as a lasting possession absolutely
for ever and ever. And in testimony of our consent to all the conditions of this
Deed we have hereunto subscribed our names and marks. And in testimony of the
consent of the Queen of England on her part to all the conditions of this Deed
the name of J. Rogan, Commissioner is hereunto subscribed. These are the
boundaries of the Land commencing at Whakatiwai at te Maioro by the Boundaries. [5,787 acres.] side of the Kaukapakapa River, thence along Mr. Blake's survey line till
it reaches Waikiekie thence along the side of Kaipara river till it reaches Te
Whare whakaroro it then runs inland 74° 40′—9899 links to Ruiototara and Ohoia
thence to Oruakopuai, and Rongomaimatua 79° 20′ 10800 links, thence to Waitoki
to Parekakau Boundary 80° 36′ 2027 links it then runs along the course of
Kaukapakapa river to Rotowhiki te Waikakaruhe Tuapou, Oruwhau till it reaches
Whakatiwai at te Maioro where the boundary joins.(Sd.) John Rogan,
