1862. 20 January.Te Tupua.This document conveys our consent to cede a portion of our
land to H. M. Queen Victoria for ever. The principal name of this place is Te
Tupua, containing 100 acres. The boundaries of this land have been surveyed by
Mr. Searancke, which are delineated on the side of this paper, and for our
consenting to the conditions of this paper We Receipt for £20. have received from Mr. Rogan Twenty pounds, that is four shillings an
acre.
