Okorihi Block, Hokianga District.

1875. 15 June.Hokianga District.This Deed, made the fifteenth day of June 1875, between Her Majesty Queen Victoria on the one part and Wiremu Titore, Hare Ngamanu, Rewiri Whakarongouru, Hauraki Rewha and Hone Mohi Tawhai of Hokianga, Aboriginal Natives of the Colony of New Zealand Okorihi. (hereinafter called "the Vendors") of the other part, Witnesseth that, in consideration of the sum of Forty six pounds eleven shtillngs (£46. 11. 0) by Her Majesty Reciept for £46 . 11. paid to the Vendors on the execution hereof, (and the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged), the Vendors do, and each of them doth, hereby surrender, convey and assure unto Her said Majesty all that Block or parcel of land containing Eight hundred and ninety two acres or thereabouts known or called Okorihi as the same is more particularly described in the Schedule hereto, and delineated on the plan drawn on this Deed and coloured red, together with all rights and appurtenances thereto belonging or appertaining. To hold the said land and premises with the appurtenances unto Her said Majesty Her Heirs and Successors for ever. In Witness whereof the Vendors have hereunto set their hands the day and year above written.

Hone Mohi Tawhai.
Rewiri Whakarongouru his x mark.

Signed by the said Wiremu Titore, Hare Ngamann, Rewiri Whakarongouru, Hauraki Rewha, and Hone Mohi Tawhai after the contents had been explained to them by an Interpreter of the Court and they appearing clearly to understand the meaning of the same In the presence of

Bounded—Towards the North by the Mangawhero Block nine hundred and ninety-nine Boundaries. [892 acres.] (999) links, two thousand four hundred and fifty-one (2451) links, and four thousand nine hundred and thirty-five (4935) links; towards the East by the Mangapapa Block four hundred and ninety-four (494) links, and the Pukehuia Block sixteen thousand four hundred and sixty (16460) links; towards the South-west by the Whirinaki River; and towards the West by Oue No. 2 Block seven thousand six hundred and eighty (7680) links.
