Ko te nui E rua mano kotahi rau e rima tekau ma waru eka koni ake iti iho ranei Ko nga rohe enei ki te Kotiu he whenua Maori. Ki te Marangai he whenua Maori ano. Ki te tonga ko Kauae o ruruwahine No. 2. Ki te hauauru ko "Warawara" ko "Whakarewarua," he whenua kua oti te ruri.
Interpreter's certificate. I, Charles E. Nelson, an Interpreter duly appointed under the "Native Land Act' 1863," certify that the above is a clear statement in the Maori language of the contents of the within-written deed, which contents I properly explained to Hone Pako, Tupakihi, and Hohepa Te Tai before the same was executed by them.
