1867. 7 January.Lower Waikato District.This Deed is made the seventh day of January one thousand eight hundred and sixty seven Between The Superintendent of the Province of Auckland of the one part and Her Majesty Queen Victoria of the other part Whereas by Crown Grant bearing date the Tuakau. Eighth day of July one thousand eight hundred and sixty five the land hereinafter Reconveyance from Superintendent of Auckland. mentioned and described was granted by Her Majesty unto the said Superintendent And Whereas by an Act of the Superintendent and Provincial Council of the Provinec of Auckland entitled "The Tuakau Block Surrender Act 1866" it is enacted that it shall be lawful for the Superintendent of the Province of Auckland by Deed under his hand and the Seal of the Province to reconvey and surrender to Her Majesty the Queen the said lands Now this Deed Witnesseth that in pursuance of the said Act and in consideration of the premises He the said Superintendent of the Province of Auckland Doth hereby convey assure and surrender unto Her Majesty Queen Victoria All that parcel of land in the Province of Auckland in the Colony of New Zealand containing by admeasurement (10,920) Ten thousand nine hundred and twenty acres more or less situate on the Waikato River and known Boundaries. [10,920 acres.] as the Tuakau Block Bounded towards the South by the Waikato River towards the West by the South eastern boundary of lot number eighteen of the Parish of Pukekohe by a part of the boundary of lot nine of the Parish of Pukekohe by the Eastern Southern and Western boundaries of lot number Forty three of the Parish of Pukekohe and by a part of the Eastern boundary of lot number Nine of the Parish of Pukekohe towards the North by the Western boundary of lot number thirty six of the Parish of Pukekohe by the South western boundary of lot number thirty five of the Parish of Pukekohe by the Western and Southern boundaries of lot number thirty four of the Parish of Pukekohe by the abuttal of the Pukekohe Road one hundred links wide by the Southern and Eastern boundaries of lot number Thirty three of the Parish of Pukekohe and by part of the Eastern boundary of lot number Thirty two of the Parish of Pukekohe towards the East by a part of the Western boundary of lot number Forty one in the Parish of Maungatawhiri by the Western boundary of lot number Forty in the Parish of Maungatawhiri by a road (820) Eight hundred and twenty links (240) Two hundred and forty links and (220) Two hundred and twenty links by the abuttal of the Tuakau and Pokeno road one hundred links wide by the Western boundary of lot number Ten of the Parish of Maungatawhiri by the abuttal of the Bluff road one hundred links wide and by the Western boundaries of lots numbers sixty seven sixty six and sixty five of Parish of Maungatawhiri to the Waikato River at the junction of the Wairere Creek as the same is delineated on the Plan drawn on the margin hereof and therein colored Red Together with all the rights and appurtenances thereto belonging In Witness Whereof The Superintendent of the Province of Auckland hath hereunto set his hand and seal and the seal of the Province of Auckland the day and year first above written.

Crown Grant to the Superintendent, Auckland.

1865. 8 July.Lower Waikato District.Victoria, By the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, Queen:

To all to whom these Presents shall come Greeting:

Know ye that for good considerations Us thereunto moving We for Us our Heirs and Successors do hereby Grant unto the Superintendent of the Province of Auckland and his Successors Superintendents of the said Province all that Parcel of Land, in our Province of Auckland in our Colony of New Zealand containing by admeasurement Ten thousand nine hundred and twenty (10,920) acres more or less situate on the Waikato Boundaries. [10,920 acres.] River and known as the Tuakau Block bounded towards the South by the Waikato River towards the West by the South eastern boundary of lot No. 18 of the Parish of Pukekohe by a part of the boundary of lot 9 of the Parish of Pukekohe by the Eastern Southern and Western boundaries of lot No. 43 of the Parish of Pukekohe and by a part of the Eastern boundary of lot No. 9 of the Parish of Pukekohe towards the North by the Western boundary of lot No. 36 of the Parish of Pukekohe by the South western boundary of lot No. 35 of the Parish of Pukekohe by the Western and Southern boundaries of lot No. 34 of the Parish of Pukekohe by the abuttal of the Pukekohe road 100 links wide by the Southern and Eastern boundaries of lot No. 33 of the Parish of Pukekohe and by part of the Eastern boundary of lot No. 32 of the Parish of Pukekohe towards the East by a part of the Western boundary of lot No. 41 in the Parish of Maungatawhiri by the Western boundary of lot No. 40 in the Parish of Maungatawhiri by a road Eight hundred and twenty (820) links Two hundred and forty (240) links and Two hundred and twenty (220) links by the abuttal of the Tuakau and Pokeno road 100 links wide by the Western boundary of lot No. 10 of the Parish of Maungatawhiri by the abuttal of the Bluff road 100 links wide and by the Western boundaries of lots Nos. 67. 66. and 65 of the Parish of Maungatawhiri to the Waikato river at the junction of the Wairere Creek As the same is delineated on the plan drawn in the margin hereof, with all the Rights and Appurtenances thereto belonging: To Hold unto the said Superintendent of the Province of Auckland and his Successors.

In Testimony Whereof We have caused this bur Grant to be sealed with the Seal of our Colony of New Zealand.

Witness Our Trusty and Well-beloved Sir George Grey K.C.B. Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over the Colony of New Zealand at Wellington this Eighth day of July in the Twenty ninth year of our Reign, and in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and sixty five.
