Memo.
The amount expressed in this deed as the consideration is
the actual amount Memorandum. paid to the owners on the signing of the, deed by them but this amount
is a portion of the sum of eignt hundred and forty two pounds four shillings and
four pence £842 " 4 " 4 named in the first deed as the consideration. The reason
for this having been done was that when the first deed was prepared it was
intended that the same document should have been taken round to be signed by the
rest of the owners: however when the time came the first deed was not in
Auckland having been sent to Wellington by order.
