W. Te Waharoa to T. H. Smith, Esq.
Friend Mr. Smith,—Te Rapa, 17th July, 1861.
Salutations to you. Your letter of the 15th July has reached me, and I have seen it. There was no "korero" in it, only telling me that my letters had reached the Governor. You did not say anything about the Governor's answer to my words or your words.
From W. Te Waharoa.
To Thomas H. Smith, Esq.,
Assistant Native Secretary, Auckland.
