Hemes, member for the Bay of Plenty, and Mr. Hardy, member for Selwyn, easily top the list for the years 1903 and 1904 with respect to committee work. Mr. Herries comes first of the whole of the members of Parliament with an attendance of 177, and Mr. Hardy second with an attendance of 145; and these two are ahead of any other member of the House. No doubt their constituencies will recognise their application and their use as Members of Parliament, and send them back again to do the real work of the country.
