Teachers are not so favourably treated by the Government under their Superannuation Bills as Civil Servants. Witness the following comparative statements.
To get the benefit of these Acts there has to be paid out of their salaries as

Males shall retire at 65, hut may retire at 60. | Males, whose length of service is not less than 40 years, or whose age is not less than 60; and |
Females shall retire at 60, but may retire at 50. | Females, whose length of service is not less than 30 years, or whose age is not less than 50 may retire. |
Will receive 1-60th part of to-tal contributions. Contribu-tions, to secure full benefits, must continue, for males, 40 years: for females, 35 years. Full benefit—annual payment of 1-60th of total salaries. | Will receive 1-60th of their an-nual rate of pay, but not to exceed two-thirds of such annual rate. |
