Secretary Operative Millers' Union, Timaru.That this Association approves of the principle of eight hours being considered the standard of a day's work in flour mills, and recommends its members to bring the same into force on the 1st of January next.
That this Association as an institution refuse to recognise the question of the employment of Labour, whether "union" or "non-union," but reserves the right of individual and independent action in this matter.
