Imports for the Several Countries

Imports for the Several Countries.

The following table has been prepared to afford American manufacturers and exporters an intelligent opportunity of competing with other nations for a greater portion of the trade of New Zealand.

The name, quantity, and value of each article imported from the following undermentioned countries are presented in alphabetical order. The table is necessarily a very long one, but I trust its perusal will amply repay the American manufacturers, merchants, and exporters. I am confident there are many articles enumerated in the subjoined tables that maybe furnished from the United States if a determined effort is made in this direction—such articles as have not heretofore found their way into New Zealand from American ports.
