Shuttleworth Brothers' Crushing Works.
These works are chiefly interesting as attracting attention to Warner's annular wind engine, which has been found a most effective and economical motive power, page 12 yielding, in accordance with the strength of the wind, from 4 to 8h.p. It is used chiefly for crushing bones, corn, oats, &c., &c., also for cutting chaff, and sawing light timber.
