13. Combination Porridge.

One pound Indian meal, simmered in a pan a slow tire for two or three hours the previous day 1
One pound oat meal 2
One pound wheat meal
Boil together for a quarter of an hour. Add the Indian meal stewed, and boil altogether for a quarter of an hour. Eat with stewed Rhubarb, gooseberries, or apples
Total 6

This makes an excellent and sustaining breakfast.
