Referring to previous communications addressed by you to the Commissioner of Stamps requesting to be informed as to the specific charges made against you, I have the honor to transmit herewith copy of charges preferred against you in your capacity as page 4 Chief Clerk and Accountant of the Stamp Department at Wellington.

If you deny the truth of the charges, you will please inform me in writing without delay, so that an enquiry may be held in accordance with the Civil Service Acts.
