J. and Co., Toowoomba.—Eight Tins Dried Meat, each 41bs., and eight months preserved; is cured entirely without salt, and will keep in any climate three years; is extremely portable, each pound of dry taking four pounds of raw flesh, and as one pound raw in using is equal to three-and-a-half pounds of fresh meat—and as it is sold, beef 6d and mutton 8d per pound—this gives a price, in proportion to fresh meat, of only 2d per pound for beef, and 2½d for mutton; is made from the best cattle Queensland can produce |
